Doctoral colloquium & alumni meeting

On the afternoon of 20.06.2025, the doctoral colloquium took place under the direction of Prof. Dr. Inge Wulf. The exchange format has existed for several years together with Prof. Dr. Marius Gros (Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences) and Prof. Dr. Patrick Velte (Leuphana University of Lüneburg) and is organized alternately by the chairs. As part of the colloquium, three doctoral students (one from each chair) will present the status of their research and discuss it with the professors and doctoral students present. Lucas Kirste from the Clausthal Chair presented the interim status of his doctorate. This resulted in an exciting exchange with those present, including ideas for future research opportunities.

Following this, current and former doctoral students of the Clausthal Chair met as part of the alumni meeting at the invitation of Prof. Dr. Wulf. After a meeting in House 2 (Julius-Albert-Str. 6), they went to the "Glück Auf" restaurant and then to the Clausthal town festival against the backdrop of the main building and Marktkirche (see photo). The meeting allowed for pleasant discussions in a pleasant atmosphere.
