In the current business administration ranking, compiled by the Economic Research Unit at ETH Zurich in collaboration with the Düsseldorf Institute for Competition Economics, Prof. Steiner is once again listed among the top 15% of business economists in the German-speaking world in terms of recent research achievements (2018 to 2022) (ranked 584th out of 3638 individuals). The business administration ranking includes all German, Austrian, and Swiss universities as well as researchers from these countries and is based on the VHB-JOURQUAL ranking for peer-reviewed economics journals, which is well established in the field of business administration. In the Lifetime Ranking category, which takes into account all publications by a researcher, Prof. Steiner ranks among the top 10% of researchers (504/4549) for the first time.
