Inspiring networking evening at the "Women&Science" women's network at TU Clausthal
The Institute of Economics was represented at the Women&Science network evening on September 5, 2025 in the CUTEC building - and it was an all-round successful evening.
The guest lecture by Lisa Wendzich, social scientist and co-founder of the start-up Suncrafter, was particularly impressive: with great openness, she described her start-up story, spoke about hurdles, opportunities and the special perspectives of women in a predominantly male-dominated start-up culture. Her presentation impressively demonstrated how entrepreneurship, sustainability and social responsibility can work together - and how important it is to courageously break new ground.
We would like to thank Dr. Natalia Schaffel-Mancini and the team from the Equal Opportunities Office and the Women&Science network(https://www.gb.tu-clausthal.de/gleichstellungsarbeit/angebote/fuer-nachwuchswissenschaftlerinnen/frauennetzwerk-womenscience-tu-clausthal) for organizing this inspiring event. The evening offered valuable impulses, exciting discussions and the opportunity to network with many committed women with ties to Clausthal University of Technology in a collegial atmosphere.
We are already looking forward to the next opportunity to exchange ideas on December 5, 2025(https://www.qualifizierung-karriere.tu-clausthal.de/unsere-angebote/persoenlichkeit-und-karriere/gleichstellung/netzwerkabend-des-frauennetzwerkes-women-science-tu-clausthal)!
