New meta-analysis on entrepreneurial orientation published
Prof. Dr. Thomas Niemand from the Department of Digital Transformation Management at the Institute of Management Science, together with colleagues from the United States, Prof. Dr. Fabian Eggers (Menlo College) and Prof. Dr. Jeffrey G. Covin (University of Wyoming), have published a meta-analysis on entrepreneurial orientation in the Review of Managerial Science (VHB-2024: B, Journal Impact Factor: 9.6). In their article, the authors analyze 41 samples from a total of over 12,000 companies to find out how the entrepreneurial mindset of being innovative, proactive and willing to take risks (entrepreneurial orientation) - one of the most important research topics in management research over the last 25 years - can best be determined. Through the findings of this meta-analysis, management researchers can now identify more precisely what impact entrepreneurial orientation has on companies and how it can be further increased in order to create more dynamic and resilient companies.
